Research assistant / Biological-technical assistant - Immuno Oncology (m/f/d)

Job Description:

Location: Heidelberg, Germany (On-site Focus)

Start Date: Immediate

 

Responsibilities

  • Join our Immuno-Oncology department and support the assay team in all operational and technical laboratory tasks.
  • Plan and perform cell-based assays to evaluate the potency and robustness of newly engineered therapeutic antibodies.
  • Take an active, hands-on role in our lab-based research activities.
  • Present your findings in regular team meetings and collaborate closely with colleagues within the group.

 

Requirements

  • Completed training as a BTA (Biological TechnicalAssistant) or a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in conducting in vitro cell-based assays.
  • Solid knowledge of cell culture techniques, flow cytometry, and ELISA-based assays.
  • Ability to independently plan experiments, perform calculations, and analyze scientific data.
  • Experience with immune cell isolation and effector/target co-culture systems is a strong plus.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English. German skills are a plus.
  • Confident use of MS Office applications.
